Trouble with technology

I don't know why, but I sometimes have trouble uploading my images onto my blog.  That is why the previous post said ballet and togetherness and then togetherness was the only thing you could see.  

Well, I'm still trying to upload the ballet images, so please bear with me and technology. My brother-in-law, Leon, will say that it is the Mac technology of course and my dad will say that it is the operator, but it is neither! 

Ballet and Togetherness

Here are a few photos of our supper at church.  These are all my Very good friends whom I love! This is quite typically how things go at our church suppers - women in the kitchen - but the men cooking is not!  Our pastor Chris did a good job!  We just love spending time with our Church Family!

Flower Princess

Luzaan went to a party yesterday.  She was asked to wear a dress and decided to go as a flower Princess.

When I arrived to fetch her, her face was painted and she was happy and smiley.  This is the photo I took of her afterwards.

It's only the fourth Post and already I have to apologise to someone!  

I thanked my sister for spoiling my children with gifts, but not everyone else that did so!  So here it is: my heartfelt thanks and gratitude!

Luzaan's Music Year End

Luzaan had her year end music demonstration for the parents today!  She enjoyed the music so much and could not wipe the smile off her face!  She received a certificate, but, contrary to what you may believe that was not the reason for the smile on the first photo!  It was the small box of smarties that accompanied it!  

It was amazing to see how those little ones can read music and pauses and know which line of notes they have to play!  They also did some Irish dance (Arms over each other) and I could see that music and dance are two of the things she loves most! 

It was also special because it was one of few times David could be there during the day and she enjoyed having her daddy there!

I can not believe this is my baby and she is preparing to go to Grade 1 next year!

Our 2 week holiday in Johannesburg

We had a wonderful time in Gauteng with my family!  We enjoyed every minute of it!  We went to Monte Casino for icecream, picnic in the Botanical garden and Ouma grootjie (great grandma's) bithday.  The children were spoiled, of course, and we shopped till we dropped.  We did not spend that much money, but it was such lovely social events every time!  

The children and I got to meet their cousin, 5 month old Liam, who was here from England for great grandma's 80th birthday!  They enjoyed him so much and asked for photos to put up in their rooms.  When they say they miss someone from there it is Oupas, Oumas and Liam!  Elizma, thank you for spoiling them so with those lovely gifts!
